Tensions with Cristiano Ronaldo can bring about Stefano Pioli’s Al Nassr exit | OneFootball

Former Serie A title winner Stefano Pioli could be heading towards an exit from Al Nassr amidst a deteriorating relationship with Cristiano Ronaldo.

SportItalia’s Gianluigi Longari has reported that Pioli’s time at Al Nassr has now reached a critical point and that isn’t just because of the club’s results. He has poor relationships with the players and that includes Ronaldo, who has already publicly spoken up about the Italian’s decisions so far.

There are further internal tensions at the club involving Pioli and Longari has also suggested that if the ex-Milan boss does get sacked, there could be his potential move to Roma.

The Giallorossi are interested and he is seen as one of the main candidates to become the next boss of the Roman club. Pioli has also been linked with a move to Juventus but a lot of it could depend on how Igor Tudor does in the next few games.
