Harry Kane has recorded six assists during another prolific start to the season at Bayern Munich, while Raphinha’s renaissance has seen the Brazilian become integral to Hansi Flick at Barcelona. Joao Neves also has six assists with the 20-year-old having swiftly justified Paris Saint-Germain’s €60m investment in him last summer.

=2. Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) – 7

Bukayo Saka leads the Premier League for assists this season having recorded seven in 10 appearances so far this season. The 23-year-old recorded an assist in each of Arsenal’s opening five games, before creating two in the 3-1 win over Southampton in October.

He’ll hope to rediscover that form after the international break for an Arsenal team who are four without a win in the Premier League.

=2. Lamine Yamal (Barcelona) – 7

Lamine Yamal has helped a free-scoring Barcelona team to the top of La Liga this season. He’s already eclipsed his number of assists (5) and matched his goal return (5) from last season with the teenager continuing his elevation to the top of the game.

The 17-year-old was named Young Player of the Tournament in the summer as Spain won Euro 2024 and has already established himself among La Liga’s leading lights. A frightening talent.

=2. Omar Marmoush (Eintracht Frankfurt) – 7

Omar Marmoush has emerged as one of the breakout stars of the European season after an explosive start to the campaign at Eintracht Frankfurt. Marmoush scored 17 goals in all competitions during an impressive debut season at Frankfurt but has taken his game to new heights this time around.

No player in Europe’s top five leagues has more goals and assists combined (18) than Marmoush, who has scored 11 times and created seven more in just 10 league appearances. He’s averaging a goal involvement every 46.5 minutes in the Bundesliga.

1. Nuno Tavares (Lazio) – 8

Yes, Arsenal and Nottingham Forest fans, this is that Nuno Tavares.

Things never quite worked out for the left-back in the Premier League but Tavares has found a home on loan at Lazio from North London this season.

Tavares has eight assists in nine Serie A games for the capital club, who sit just a point off leaders Napoli in a tightly-contested title race. The defender’s formidable form has earned him a maiden Portugal call-up this month.
