Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has provided a fresh injury update ahead of the Premier League clash against Ipswich Town on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils are winless in the last three league games following the comeback draw at Everton. They are 15th in the standings with just 30 points.

Amorim will expect a better showing tomorrow evening. The squad could remain the same.

Noussair Mazraoui suffered a knee injury scare against Everton and was in discomfort. Leny Yoro eventually replaced the Moroccan in the 70th minute.

The manager did not provide a specific update on this and highlighted that there are no fresh concerns. Those injured are continuing their recovery.

United’s form has been a huge concern over the past few months. They are only goal difference ahead of 16th-placed West Ham United ahead of the Ipswich clash.

Amorim has complete backing from the hierarchy, but the failure to beat the Tractor Boys on Wednesday could raise more doubts over his future at United.

There is talk of Xavi Hernandez being available in the summer. Amorim is reportedly walking a tightrope, and a change can’t be ruled out later this year.

United drew 1-1 with Ipswich in Amorim’s first game in charge in November. They are the favourites to pick up a comfortable win tomorrow.
