The Carabao Cup final which Liverpool lost against Newcastle United would have given Arne Slot a better idea of his side.
When it mattered, some of their big names players failed to perform and that could result in their career ending at Anfield.
Considering his form and performances this season, it is difficult to raise fingers at Mohamed Salah, despite his poor performance against Newcastle at Wembley.
The attacker has had his best individual season for Liverpool since joining the club and he is close to guiding them to the Premier League title.
Questions are being asked about other attackers; Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Luis Diaz.
According to transfer expert Mick Brown, the Reds are ready to accept offers for Jota in the summer transfer window.
Jota has scored 8 goals in 29 appearances for the Reds this season and has also spent time out with fitness issues.
Brown has stated that the Reds are finally looking to offload him in the summer and that could start the reshuffe of Liverpool’s attack under Slot.
“Liverpool are looking at their team and assessing areas they can improve,” he told Football Insider.
“They’ve become a little bit predictable in recent weeks, which will be an issue.
“One of their strengths has been that they’ve got five or six forwards, and any three of those could start on any given day.
“But I don’t think Slot has been particularly happy with what those players are giving to him.
“Jota, I hear, has been particularly disappointing, and he’s one they will look to move on.
“If they can bring in a decent fee for him, it will allow them to go and spend it on a replacement.
“I think clubs will be interested in him so perhaps there’s a deal to be done.
“Slot wants to refresh his attacking options to give Liverpool something new, but at the moment the options they’ve got means there’s no space.
“His sale and perhaps a couple of others would free that space, wages, and money to spend on improvements this summer.”

The Carabao Cup final showed that Liverpool attackers need to support Salah more.
The Egyptian has the burden of scoring goals for the Merseyside club as well as creating chances for them.
He needs the support of his teammates because even for a player of his caliber, performing in every match is not possible.
Having multiple goal scorers in your team gives you the advantage of winning major silverware.
Even if the Reds win the Premier League title, which they are favourites to do, it would be down to Salah and his brilliance.
