The brass at Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur have begun expressing an interest in the signature of on-loan Barcelona starlet Vitor Roque.

The name of frontman Roque has of course reemerged as a prominent one in the Spanish media over the course of recent days.

As much comes amid the understanding that the 19-year-old, just months on from sealing a loan switch to Real Betis, has been identified as a transfer target on the part of Brazilian giants Palmeiras.

And, if the latest word to have followed this evening is anything to go by, then Palmeiras are far from the only ones keen.

As per a report from Relevo, the aforementioned Tottenham made use of a recent scouting trip to watch Johnny Cardoso to keep a close eye on the progress of teammate Roque, too.

Real Betis boast an option to buy the young goalscorer come the close of the campaign, but Spurs consider Roque a potential market opportunity in the case of as much not being activated by the Verdiblancos hierarchy.
