Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly prepared to stick with manager Ange Postecoglou despite a 13th loss of the season against Leicester City on Sunday.
With just 24 points from 23 Premier League games, Spurs sit 15th in the Premier League standings, after the 2-1 defeat at home to relegation-threatened Leicester left them only eight points above the drop zone.
Postecoglou has blamed Spurs' undeniably severe injury crisis for the team's struggles but acknowledged after the game that he may not still be in charge by the time the likes of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven are healthy again.
Despite mounting pressure on his shoulders, football.london state Postecoglou's position remains safe for now, with Spurs officials accepting the strain caused by the ongoing battle with injuries.
While many fans are frustrated with Postecoglou, the overwhelming sentiment from Sunday's game was anger towards chairman Daniel Levy, who has only recruited goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky and 18-year-old winger Yang Min-hyeok this month, despite Postecoglou's insistence that Spurs are "playing with fire" if they fail to sign more players.
Postecoglou has declined to criticise Spurs' transfer department, even going as far as to publicly defend them by insisting they are trying to bolster the squad this winter.
This latest report claims Levy and Spurs are planning to sign at least one new player before the end of the transfer window, although there is no mention of who that signing could be or even the position on which Spurs are focusing their efforts.
