AC Milan face a hugely important Serie A contest this evening as they take on Torino away from home, and Sergio Conceicao will cling to Santiago Gimenez.
As Tuttosport (via MilanPress) report, Milan will be chasing their third consecutive victory in the league after the successes against Empoli and Verona. Those victories arrived thanks to the decisive hand of Santiago Gimenez, the winter signing who has started very well.
With his goals, the Mexico international gave the Rossoneri six vital points to keep up in the fight for the top four places. His importance since arriving cannot be understated, as he is providing all the things that were missing in recent months.
The grit he shows, his attacking of the space in behind and his knack of being in the right place at the right time are all things that Alvaro Morata did not do and Tammy Abraham has struggled to do consistently to this point.
The Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino has often been an unhappy hunting ground for Milan given they have won in just one of their last seven trips there. Tonight, though, is another chance for ‘El Bebote’ to show why the directors invested in him in the winter.
