Dusan Vlahovic converted a soft penalty to give Juventus a precious point away to giant-killers Lille after the Jonathan David opener.
The Bianconeri won their first two European fixtures, but were stunned 1-0 at home by VfB Stuttgart. Danilo sat out a ban, with Michele Di Gregorio returning, plus Nico Gonzalez, Gleison Bremer and Arkadiusz Milik sidelined. LOSC were a surprise in the Champions League, losing to Sporting CP, then beating both Real Madrid 1-0 and Atletico Madrid 3-1. Their absentee list included Samuel Umtiti, Remy Cabella, Tiago Santos, Andre Gomes, Nabil Bentaleb, Hakon Arnar Haraldsson and Ethan Mbappé.
Jonathan David had a strike charged down by Federico Gatti and Dusan Vlahovic had suspicions of offside as his angled drive flashed across the face of goal.
Teun Koopmeiners did have the ball in the net, but only after Vlahovic had wandered offside in the build-up.
Instead, Lille took the lead with a classic counter-attack, as Zhegrova turned Juan Cabal and surged down the right, sending David clear to beat the on-rushing Di Gregorio from a tricky angle.

Juve had two big chances in quick succession, as first Chevalier flew for an acrobatic reaction save when Vlahovic volleyed the Manuel Locatelli cross, then on the resulting corner Mandi charged down a Kenan Yildiz effort at the back post.
Koopmeiners was terrible unlucky, as he again had a goal disallowed through no fault of his own, because Kenan Yildiz was offside this time in the build-up.
Juve were pouring forward while the hosts seemed content to soak up pressure and go on the counter-attack. Chevalier flapped at a Francisco Conceicao cross, then parried the Khephren Thuram follow-up too.
Francisco Conceicao ran at defenders in the box and went over Andre’s leg, rather looking for the penalty, which was successfully converted by Vlahovic.
Not content with a point, Thiago Motta’s side continued to dominate proceedings in search of a winner, but this left gaps at the back. Zhegrova stung Di Gregorio’s gloves and Andre nodded over on the resulting corner.
