Olympique de Marseille face the tough task of facing one of the best teams in European football at present – and they just happen to be their arch rivals Paris Saint-Germain. Most observers have tipped the side from the French capital to be clear favourites against Les Marseillais, especially considering their barn-storming form in the Champions League after knocking out Premier League side Liverpool at Anfield last week. Valentin Rongier was however defiant in Marseille’s pre-match press conference at the Stade Vélodrome, attended by Get French Football News. “I agree with you that they are one of the best teams in Europe. It’s a fact,” began Rongier when asked about Sunday’s opponents. “We all watched the game against Liverpool in the week.”“We are not going to park the bus. Already I think we are a different team from the first match (0-3 loss). But if we go there and impose ourselves, it’s football at the end of the day. Every weekend you can create a surprise.
