Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has given a response to some of the recent transfer speculation linking him with a possible move away from the Allianz Arena.
The England international only joined Bayern last season after spending the bulk of his career at Tottenham, and he’s been on fire for the Bundesliga giants.
With a record of 72 goals in 73 games since joining Bayern, it’s hardly surprising that we’re now hearing talk of big names like Manchester United potentially looking to bring Kane back to the Premier League.
TBR Football have reported on Kane being a dream target for Man Utd co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe, while a report from Fichajes has stated that the 31-year-old is a €80m target for the Red Devils.
Still, Kane has played down any talk of leaving Bayern, as per Fabrizio Romano in his post on X below…

Kane made it clear he’s very happy at Bayern, and wouldn’t comment on his possible release clause that could clear him to leave the club for relatively cheap.
It will be interesting to see how this saga develops, but one imagines United would dearly love to bring in a striker of Kane’s calibre if possible.
Even if he’s set to turn 32 later this year, Kane is showing no sign of slowing down with age, and could perhaps have it in him to play into his 40s like Cristiano Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

That means there’s plenty of time for Kane to enjoy more success at Bayern for a while longer before thinking about coming back to England.
United could do with bringing someone like this in as soon as possible, though, as Ruben Amorim surely can’t rely on misfiring duo Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund for too much longer.
