3,000 PSG fans to make trip to Liverpool | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain head to Liverpool with a one-goal deficit to overturn. L’Équipe understands that Luis Enrique’s men will be cheered on by 3,000 travelling supporters at Anfield.

Despite PSG dominating for large periods, Liverpool won the first leg at the Parc des Princes last week thanks to a late Harvey Elliott winner. Prior to that, Alisson had kept the Premier League leaders in the tie with a string of high-class saves. Les Parisiens therefore have an uphill task to ensure their progression to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League, however, in the wake of last week’s defeat, they have remained bullish and optimistic.

3,000 PSG fans will be present to cheer them on at Anfield on Tuesday, the equivalent of 5% of the stadium’s capacity. Many of those 3,000 will be ultras. A fan walk from the city centre towards the stadium may be permitted, however, this has yet to be confirmed by authorities.
