€300m to Real Madrid & €140m to the player – Saudi club’s massive January offer revealed | OneFootball

An insight into the financial terms of a proposal received by La Liga giants Real Madrid for Rodrygo this month has today been provided.

The info comes courtesy of El Chiringuito TV, and points towards the offer in question as having come by way of the Saudi Pro League.

The subject of Saudi interest in the club’s stars has of course taken its place front and centre in the media headlines surrounding Real Madrid in January.

This comes amid ongoing speculation linking Blancos standout Vinícius Jr. with a move to the Middle East.

As alluded to above, though, Vinícius is not the only member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad to have made his way into the sights of SPL clubs.

As per a report from El Chiringuito TV, Al-Hilal recently tabled a bid worth a record-breaking €300 million to bring in Rodrygo.

The Brazilian himself, meanwhile, was offered €140 million-per-year to take his talents to Saudi Arabia.

Rodrygo, however, showcased little hesitance in turning as much down, eager to continue to etch his name into the history books of Real Madrid for years to come.
