Tammy Abraham joked that he thought he should have been awarded the man of the match after grabbing a goal and an assist in Milan’s 3-2 win away against Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League, and noted that his teammate Rafael Leao ‘doesn’t know how good he is’.
Abraham and Leao were both on the scoresheet for Milan in Slovakia. The Portugal international took just over 20 minutes to score after coming off the bench, while the Englishman added his side’s third less than three minutes later.

“I’m happy, I thought I was the man of the match,” he joked after full-time. “I’m happy to have helped my team with a goal and an assist. I’m happy.”
“Of course, we all want to do well and go as far as possible in this competition. We want to do the best we can, hopefully get to the end.”
The former Chelsea and Roma striker then heaped the praise on his teammate Leao, who started on the bench but came on and scored the goal that put Milan back in front just over 20 minutes later.
“Leao is such an important player for us, I don’t think he knows how good he is. He can win games on his own, on the right day, he’s unstoppable. We have to make sure he’s full of confidence so he can help us on our journey.”
