Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse from Sky Sports.

This happening less than 24 hours after the latest woeful match move by the broadcaster.

Friday night had seen the away match at West Ham moved to an 8pm kick-off on a Monday night.

An absolute nightmare for Newcastle fans, as no trains to get home to Tyneside after that Hammers away game.

To make matters even worse, it cuts the preparation time for Eddie Howe, if United get through to the Carabao Cup final the following Sunday.

Anyway, moving on to Saturday afternoon.

After a shock early Southampton goal, Alexander Isak equalises on 26 minutes after winning a clear penalty himself, although it somehow took VAR to help the on-pitch referee out.

Only four minutes later and what a sweet goal, perfect Murphy pass and Isak again, a great finish.

Match totally turned around and Alexander Isak once again man of the moment.

Isak making it 13 goals in his last ten Premier League matches AND setting United on their way to yet another away win.

Yet this is how the Sky Sports reporter/clown at St Mary’s reacted to that excellent Alexander Isak second goal and Newcastle United going 2-1 up:

“Quite remarkable.

“Alexander Isak is the man so many Arsenal fans want the Gunners to sign and he’s proving just why.

“He’s now got his second goal of the game and given Newcastle a 2-1 lead.

“And it’s all thanks to the brilliant work from Jacob Murphy, who just drops deep, picks up the ball and drives into midfield, then finds an exquisite pass between the two centre-backs.

“Alexander Isak takes a good touch, the first touch just takes it away from the defender.

“And like Thierry Henry, he opens his body up in front of goal, and then caresses it, sidefoots it past Alex McCarthy, into that bottom corner.

“It’s his 17th Premier League goal of the season.

“You can hear the Newcastle fans, they are loving life down on the south coast, now 2-1 to Eddie Howe’s side.”

Honestly, what a total lack of respect.

This totally embarrassing Sky Sports reporter is there to cover Southampton v Newcastle, not act as a simpering fanboy for Arsenal!
