AC Milan’s Ismaël Bennacer expected to arrive in Marseille on Tuesday

According to an update from RMC Sport, Ismaël Bennacer (27) is expected to arrive in Marseille on Tuesday ahead of his loan move from AC Milan to Olympique de Marseille.

The French outlet explains that Bennacer will join on a paid loan (the initial fee being €1 million) with the option to make the deal permanent for a further €12 million plus €3 million in bonuses.

Bennacer has missed much of the season with a calf injury suffered right at the start of the campaign. As a result, he has made just eight appearances in all competitions, including just six in Serie A. Marseille then reignited their interest late in the window and once again, Bennacer was keen to make the move to the Vélodrome.

This move was in part facilitated by the arrival of Warren Bondo at AC Milan from fellow Serie A side AC Monza.
