Antony swap deal? Man United tipped to launch summer move for Real Betis star | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Real Betis has made his way onto the wishlist of the transfer team at English giants Manchester United.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who point towards Johnny Cardoso as the player in question.

Midfielder Johnny is for his part in the midst of a stellar individual campaign to date.

Long established as one of the first names on the team sheet of boss Manuel Pellegrini, the United States international has racked up 40 appearances across all competitions, chipping in with four goals along the way.

Johnny has been widely hailed for the complete nature of his performances, with the 23-year-old excelling on both sides of the ball.

And such exploits, it would appear, have not gone unnoticed amongst the leading clubs of the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur, for one, boast a purchase option on Johnny in the summer, as part of the deal which saw Giovani Lo Celso take his talents back to the Benito Villamarín.

Should Spurs opt against activating as much, though, another English outfit could enter the fray.
