West Ham will demand that interested clubs meet the £85m release clause in the contract of Mohammed Kudus.
Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in signing the Ghana international, who is open to leaving West Ham for a side in European competition.
Kudus has been a big hit since arriving from Ajax in 2023 with the winger scoring 14 goals in all competitions during his debut season with the Irons.
However, West Ham have endured a tough start to the season under new head coach Julen Lopetegui and Kudus is reportedly considering his options. He has missed the club’s last three matches through suspension after a red card at Tottenham last month.
According to the Daily Mail, Arsenal, Liverpool and Saudi Pro League sides are weighing up moves for the 24-year-old. Arsenal are keen to increase the competition in their wide roles, while Liverpool are assessing the market for potential Mohamed Salah replacements. Salah is out of contract at Anfield at the end of the campaign.
However, West Ham will only allow Kudus to depart for a club in Champions League competition – or in contention to qualify – and if his hefty release clause is met.
An £85m sale would see the Hammers make a huge profit on the £38m fee invested to sign Kudus from the Eredivisie less than 18 months ago.
