Arsenal have set their sights on adding a new forward to their squad in January, according to reports.

The Telegraph say the Gunners are interested in bringing Wolves forward Matheus Cunha to the club but that it will be very difficult to do a deal in January.

Cunha has been in terrific form this season, scoring 10 goals in 18 league games, and Wolves are said to be very reluctant to let him leave midway through the season as they battle to stay in the Premier League.

Elsewhere, Tottenham defender Micky Van de Ven has reportedly attracted the interest of Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Spanish outlet Relevo say Van de Ven is a January target for the club, who have defensive injuries. Van de Ven himself has struggled with injuries this season, however, and is currently sidelined with a hamstring problem.

The Times say Manchester City will look to add at least two signings in January as Pep Guardiola looks to turn around his team’s disappointing season so far.

Jamal Musiala and Florian Wirtz are both said to be of interest but would each cost more than £100m.

The Telegraph are reporting that Newcastle have put a price tag of £150m on their in form striker Alexander Isak.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi is again expected to attract interest in January having been the subject of bids from Newcastle in the summer. He is reportedly willing to wait for a move to Liverpool, however, the Sun say.

And FC Como manager has confirmed former Spurs and Everton midfielder Dele Alli is training with the club ahead of a possible move to Italy.
