Arsenal injury boost as duo join Dubai training camp | OneFootball

Arsenal have been handed a boost with Bukayo Saka and Ben White part of the squad that has travelled to Dubai for a warm weather training camp.

Following the club’s Carabao Cup semi-final exit to Newcastle United on Wednesday, Arsenal have decided to take a break and head to Dubai.

The Gunners are out of the FA Cup and will use the upcoming free weekend to step up preparations for their next Premier League fixture against Leicester on February 15th.

In images released on the club’s official website, Saka and White are pictured travelling with the squad. Saka has out since undergoing surgery on a hamstring injury picked up against Crystal Palace in December.

White also underwent surgery in November, to correct an ongoing knee issue. Arteta said White had not yet returned to first-team training ahead of last weekend’s win over Manchester City. However, his inclusion for the Dubai trip is a positive sign for the Gunners.

After exiting both cup competitions, Arsenal are six points behind Liverpool in the Premier League title race. The North Londoners have also progressed to the Champions League’s last 16 and will face one of the play-off winners next month.
