Maldini Kacurri’s loan move to Bromley appears to have ended early, with the player now back in training with Arsenal at London Colney.

Sky Sports footage of Arsenal’s training session on Thursday shows Maldini Kacurri was involved with the squad, despite the defender officially still being on loan with Bromley FC.

There’s evidently no fitness issue for Kacurri at the moment, given he was involved in full training with the first team.

Recovering injured Arsenal stars like Kai Havertz, Riccardo Calafiori, and Jorginho were all involved at London Colney as well, but they took part in individual sessions indoors, not in the main session like Kacurri.

Kacurri has struggled for minutes since joining Bromley. He immediately made his debut at the first possible opportunity with a start against Salford City in February, but then received no further starts after that.

The 19-year-old wasn’t even in the squad for the next month of football, and when he did return, he only made it onto the pitch as a substitute in two of his five squad appearances.

The last of those appearances on the bench was against Morecambe FC on April 18th. In the two Bromley fixtures since then, Kacurri has again been left out completely.

With Bromley’s season ending against Cheltenham on Saturday, there’s no reason for Kacurri to hang around if he’s not going to be involved in the game.

As Jeorge Bird notes, it will be interesting to see if the centre-back now returns to action with the Arsenal u21s, who play in the Premier League 2 play-off quarter-finals against Manchester City on Saturday.
