Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur have enquired about the loan signing of PSG centre-back Milan Škriniar (29), according to a report this Wednesday from L’Equipe. The outlet understands that Škriniar’s advisor is currently in Paris to find the player a way out of the Ligue 1 champions. Škriniar has fallen down the pecking order in Luis Enrique’s squad as the Spaniard mostly relied on Marquinhos (30), Willian Pacho (23) with Lucas Beraldo (21) as a squad option.
Škriniar has decided to leave PSG in this winter transfer window and is reportedly keen to make his decision in the upcoming hours, the outlet reports. Galatasaray are reportedly the most insistent suitor, but the player’s wages could prove a sticking point, although Škriniar reportedly entertains joining the Turkish Süper Lig giants because he’d be certain to be a starter.
L’Equipe also mentions that the former Inter Milan centre-back is attracted by the prospect of joining the Premier League. Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly made their interest known. PSG are keen to include an option to make Škriniar’s expected loan move permanent, which is something Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis could be reluctant to agree to as the Partenopei are said to be in talks with the PSG centre-back.
