Aston Villa in contact with Chelsea over João Felix | OneFootball

According to an exclusive report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Aston Villa are interested in Chelsea attacking midfielder João Felix (25). Hawkins writes that the two Premier League clubs are in direct contact as they negotiate a deal. However, several other teams are also looking at the Portuguese international.

Felix only arrived at the club on a permanent deal over the summer when he signed a seven-year contract from Atlético de Madrid. The London side were reported to have paid around €52 million for the player. This move would be Felix’s second stint in West London. He had previously played for the club on a six-month loan in 2023.

João Felix misses Manchester City clash

Felix missed Chelsea’s most recent game when he pulled out of the match hours before a top-of-the-table clash with rivals Manchester City. Despite Chelsea going a goal ahead in the third minute, Manchester City would record a comeback victory scoring three before the final whistle.
