Plymouth 1-0 Liverpool

Blackburn 0-2 Wolves

That's the end of our FA Cup coverage for today - thanks for joining us!

Tomorrow sees the fifth round draw take place, as well as Doncaster Rovers' tie with Crystal Palace.

The fourth round concludes on Tuesday when Nottingham Forest travel to Exeter City.

FULL-TIME: Aston Villa 2-1 Tottenham

Villa see out the game to progress to the fifth round of the FA cup for the first time in a decade.

It's another damaging day for Spurs and Ange Postecoglou.

Spurs are pushing for an equaliser, but their two balls into the box have gone straight to Martínez.

Time is running out.

GOAL: Aston Villa 2-1 Tottenham

Is a late rescue act on?

Dejan Kulusevski whips a brilliant ball in, which Mathys Tel finishes off with an equally quality finish for his first goal for the club.

There's four minutes of added time left...

Rashford is cleared out by Archie Gray before he has a chance to shoot.

Man United vs Leeds United academy graduates.

Into the final 10 minutes, and Villa are set for their first fifth round appearance since 2015.

They made the final that year. A repeat is a very realistic target.

Mathys Tel has had very little of the ball, but wins a corner for Spurs.

It eventually leads to Danso firing over from close range.

Spurs are crashing out of another domestic cup this week barring a minor miracle.

More great play from Villa puts Ramsey through on Kinský, who does really well to keep his side somewhat in the game.

He's stepped up since his tough start to the game.

And here's the second goal that should clinch a spot in the fifth round for Villa.

Lovely play from Asensio to set up Rogers, who fires just over.

The 29-year-old Spaniard has bags of talent, and could thrive under Emery, who no doubt knows his game well.

That is Malen's final play, as he comes off.

Rashford and Asensio are on for their club debuts, and receive a huge reception from the home fans.

GOAL! Aston Villa 2-0 Tottenham

After all of Spurs' hard work to try and get back into the game, Villa get their second through Morgan Rogers.

They work the ball well, and Malen crosses the ball into the box for Rogers to tap in after Porro couldn't get enough on it.

Villa are being forced to sit deeper, but it could work in their favour given their pace on the counter.

Rashford could soon be on, which will add even more speed to the frontline..

Spurs have been much better to start the second half, and are pushing for an equaliser.

We're back underway at Villa Park.

A big 45 minutes ahead.

HALF TIME: Aston Villa 1-0 Tottenham

Villa are ahead at the break, and are more than good value for their lead.

A big team talk for Postecoglou ahead, and might we see Marcus Rashford shortly?

Malen has Villa's latest effort, smashing the ball at the side netting when he should have gone across the goal.

Archie Gray had given the ball way in the build up - not the first time Spurs have played themselves into trouble.

Villa look dangerous whenever they push forward, and have bypassed the Spurs midfield on several occasions now.

A second before the break would not be undeserved.

Roy Keane would be proud of the Plymouth goalkeeper's reaction to his huge role in a famous win.

Kinský makes a good double save to first deny Bailey, and then Ramsey.

The young Czech keeper has done well since his first minute howler.

Ezri Konsa has been forced off with an injury. He pulled up off the ball, and has been replaced by Lamare Bogarde.

Villa are now playing without any recognised centre backs, something Spurs can sympathise with.

HUGE CHANCE FOR SPURS!

Spurs finally show some quality, Mikey Moore being played in on the right.

He squares the ball for Heung-Min Son, who just has to score from six yards out.

Emiliano Martínez did very well to stop it, but you'd expect so much more from the South Korean.

Kinský gets a strong hand to Leon Bailey's curled effort as Villa continue to pose a threat every time they get on the ball.

Spurs need to hang on for now.

Times are tough for Ange.

There's a few "We want Levy out" chants coming from the away end, and can you blame them?

Spurs are all at sea here.

If anyone was anticipating a strong response following their hammering by Liverpool, they'll be disappointed.

GOAL! Aston Villa 1-0 Tottenham

Inside a minute, Villa take the lead through Jacob Ramsey.

He was played in on the left by Morgan Rogers, and fired a shot at Antonín Kinský, who made a complete mess of it, allowing the ball into the net.

KICK OFF

We're underway at Villa Park.

Only Nottingham Forest, PSV and Spurs had beaten Liverpool this season before today.

Quite an exclusive club the Pilgrims have just joined.

But, first some more reaction from a truly stunning result at Home Park.

Perfectly summed up by Plymouth's standout performer.

We're 15 minutes away from our third and final game of the day, and it could be a real cracker.

Aston Villa and Tottenham have won a combined 15 FA Cups, but the last came in 1991 for Spurs.

With Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea already out, this represents a real chance for both clubs to end their respective trophy droughts.

Both sides love to attack, and with Mathys Tel starting for Spurs, and Marcus Rashford and Marco Asensio on the bench for Villa, the goals will hopefully flow.

FULL TIME: PLYMOUTH 1-0 LIVERPOOL

Plymouth have done it!!!!

In the biggest FA Cup shock in years, the bottom-placed side in the Championship have knocked out the Premier League leaders.

Liverpool's quadruple hopes are dashed, while Plymouth have just claimed the most famous win in their long history.

The magic of the cup is well and truly alive.

HUGE SAVE!

Hazard again makes a massive stop to deny Liverpool from close range.

Federico Chiesa puts a hanging cross high and wide.

We are on the brink of one of the biggest giant-killings in modern FA Cup history.

WHAT A SAVE!

Conor Hazard keeps the dream alive with a wonderful stop from Diogo Jota's brilliant half volley.

We're into a massive nine minutes of added time.

Can Plymouth hold out?

Huge chance for Liverpool as the clock ticks into added time!

Plymouth make a mess of a long ball, but James McConnell fires wide with the goal in sight.

TEAM NEWS

Mathys Tel is named in the Spurs starting lineup after making his debut off the bench in the EFL Cup loss at Liverpool.

TEAM NEWS

Marcus Rashford is named in Aston Villa's squad, but any debut will have to come off the bench.

Trent Kone-Doherty is on for his Liverpool debut.

Can the 18-year-old Irish forward save his side with just 10 minutes remaining?

Plymouth are celebrating every defensive block like a goal.

They're less than 20 minutes away from what would surely be the most famous win in club history.

Núñez is on, which should at least mean things happen up front for Liverpool.

Whether they're good or bad things is still to be decided.

Hardie almost has a second, hitting the post from close range.

Plymouth well and truly believe, as do all their fans at Home Park.

Arne Slot rested nearly all of his big guns, with the likes of Mo Salah and Cody Gakpo not even on the bench.

Darwin Núñez is though, and it looks like he'll be coming on soon.

The Reds need a saviour right now.

GOAL! PLYMOUTH 1-0 LIVERPOOL

Ryan Hardie makes no mistake, sending Caoimhín Kelleher the wrong way.

We have a massive cup upset potentially on our hands!

PENALTY FOR PLYMOUTH!

Plymouth have been handed a spot kick after Harvey Elliott handled inside the box.

Plymouth have the first opening, Callum Wright doing very well to fashion a chance after cutting in from the left.

His shot is deflected over, and Liverpool deal with the resulting corner.

We're back underway.

Surely it can only get better in the second 45?

Maybe the most interesting narrative of the game so far.

HALF TIME

It's goalless at the break at Home Park after a very stop-start 45 minutes.

Plymouth will be very happy with their work so far.

Plymouth midfielder Darko Gyabi fires one over after the ball falls to him in the box. It was a tough angle, and he couldn't get over the ball to keep it down.

Liverpool are struggling to create anything, with Diogo Jota crowded out in the box after breaking down the left.

Tymoteusz Puchacz has had the hosts' best opening, but some dogged defending from Wataru Endo stopped him in his tracks.

Still waiting on a shot on target. Plymouth will be delighted with how the opening half hour has gone.

To rubberstamp that, neither side has had a shot in the opening 23 minutes.

It's been a seriously sloppy start to this game, with Liverpool not in rhythm at all yet.

Given the 10 changes and injury to Gomez, it's understandable, but it is ideal for Plymouth.

It's a seriously tough break for Gomez, and a big concern for Arne Slot given he could now be down to three senior central defenders at a pivotal point of the season.

Early change for Liverpool with Joe Gomez being forced off with injury in his first appearance of 2025 following a hamstring issue.

It's unclear if it's a recurrence of that, but he's off and Isaac Mabaya is on.

The hosts have started positively here, with their early intent suggesting they will bring the game to the Premier League leaders.

KICK-OFF

We're underway between Plymouth and Liverpool in the second fourth round clash of the day.

We're 10 minutes away from kick-off at Home Park.

Can the Pilgrims pull off a major giant killing?

FULL-TIME: Blackburn 0-2 Wolves

Those two first half goals see Wolves progress to the fifth round.

Who will join them?

Liverpool's starting line-up is in for their trip to Plymouth. And it is a very new-look midfield from Arne Slot with 10 changes made.

It looks like today is going to get even worse for Blackburn fans. It seems likely they could be watching the final game of John Eustace's tenure with Derby keen to bring him in to replace Paul Warne.

We're back underway for the second half at Ewood Park with Wolves 2-0 to the good.

Now that is how to play your way out of trouble.

HALF-TIME

Blackburn 0-2 Wolves

Vitor Pereira's side completely in command thanks to their quickfire double salvo.

The goals which have Wolves in the driving seat!

GOAL! Blackburn 0-2 Wolves: Cunha 34'

Two in two minutes for Wolves! They are in complete control of this tie as Matheus Cunha follows up the opener by finding the bottom corner.

GOAL! Blackburn 0-1 Wolves: Gomes 33'

Wolves are ahead! A low strike from João Gomes has squeezed underneath the goalkeeper and in.

Dominic Hyam has the ball in the net for Blackburn but it has been ruled out for offside. But was that the right call?

KICK-OFF

We're underway between Blackburn and Wolves at Ewood Park in the first game of the day.

Before we get started today, let's just take one last look at the Leyton Orient wonder goal that threatened to cause a huge upset for Manchester City. What a moment.

Saturday's FA Cup action was headlined by Brighton's elimination of Chelsea, while Manchester City survived a big scare against Leyton Orient.

Welcome to our live coverage of Sunday's FA Cup action with three games on the slate.

First up, Blackburn Rovers take on Wolverhampton Wanderers at Ewood Park before Liverpool travel to Plymouth and Aston Villa host Tottenham Hotspur.
