Axel Disasi likely to leave Chelsea amidst Atalanta interest | OneFootball

Serie A side Atalanta are interested in signing Chelsea’s Axel Disasi and the defender is now likely to depart the English side.

TuttoAtalanta have reported that several clubs in Europe are monitoring the situation of the centre-back, who wants to play regularly in the second half of the season.

Juventus were previously interested in him but have made it clear that they will focus on other targets. Atalanta have explored the market in England and Disasi’s situation has alerted them.

There will be big competition in the chase for him and the expectation is that Bundesliga clubs will make offers for him. The final decision could come down to Disasi when the offers come in. La Dea see the Frenchman as an interesting opportunity but are also keeping tabs on other names to bolster their backline this month.

Martin Erlic is also of interest to Atalanta but Parma are keeping tabs on him as well.
