La Liga giants Barcelona will be keeping a watchful eye on the performances of Bayern Munich youngster Adam Aznou at Real Valladolid over the 2nd half of the season.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Thursday provided an insight into recent developments behind the scenes in Catalunya’s capital.

Deco and the Barcelona brass, it is understood, are on the lookout for reinforcements at full-back with a view to next season.

Any such moves would come with a view to securing backup for first-choice options Jules Koundé and Alejandro Balde.

The Blaugrana are therefore keeping an eye out for cut-price deals.

And one such profile to have come to the fore in the Camp Nou boardroom over recent days, it is claimed, is that of the aforementioned Adam Aznou.

Aznou, for his part, spent the early years of his career developing on Barcelona’s books, before opting for a new adventure with Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022.

The Catalans, though, have not lost sight of his development, their attentions having therefore been piqued upon the Moroccan international returning to Spain by way of a loan move to Real Valladolid this winter.

Should Barca be sufficiently impressed by Aznou’s efforts over the months ahead, an offer for his signature could in turn be forthcoming in the summer.
