Paris Saint-Germain’s attacking woes have been a persistent storyline this season, particularly in the UEFA Champions League, where goals have been hard to come by under Luis Enrique’s management.
Earlier in the year, PSG was linked with Liverpool’s electrifying winger Luis Díaz, though those rumors quickly fizzled out. Yet, with the Parisian club still in search of firepower, a renewed pursuit of the Colombian forward could be back on the table.
Díaz, contracted with Liverpool until 2027, finds himself at a crossroads as negotiations over a new deal reportedly face hurdles. If talks stall, it could open the door for potential suitors to make their move.
Antena 2 recently reported that Barcelona and PSG had previously shown interest in the 27-year-old, with reports suggesting both were prepared to submit bids in the region of €80 million.
Adding intrigue to the race, AC Milan has now emerged as a serious contender. The Rossoneri are reportedly eyeing Díaz as a marquee addition to bolster their attacking options, signaling fierce competition for his signature.

Barcelona sporting director Deco’s pursuit of Díaz has gained traction, according to SPORT, as the Colombian winger is reportedly frustrated with Liverpool’s lack of movement on a new contract.
CaughtOffside previously reported that during discussions in December, Liverpool’s management, including Arne Slot, assured Díaz and his representatives that the club was satisfied with his performances and had no plans to sell him in January.
Despite this, both PSG and Barcelona are said to have reached out to Díaz’s camp to gauge his availability. While Díaz is reportedly keen on a move to Barcelona, the club’s ongoing Financial Fair Play issues—already preventing them from registering Dani Olmo—make the transfer unlikely.
PSG, however, are reportedly ready to table a €60 million offer plus a player to lure Díaz to Paris. Despite the significant proposal, Liverpool are not open to negotiations at this time.
