Barcelona star makes appearance on WWE Friday Night Smackdown | OneFootball

One of the biggest perks of being a world-class footballer is the exclusive events you get to attend and the invites you recieve to be seen at them.

Barcelona’s young superstar Lamine Yamal has taken full adavantage of this with his status as one of the hottest prospects in the footballing world right now.

World-renowned professional wrestling promotion WWE were in town for a show in Barcelona on Friday night as they brought their weekly Smackdown show to the city.

During the show, Lamine Yamal made an appearance in the front row of the crowd to a rapturous reception from the Barcelona crowd when he was shown on camera on the live broadcast on Netflix.

His Barcelona teammates Alejandro Balde and Héctor Fort were also there to keep the young winger company.

Yamal was seen holding his own WWE title belt, and was clearly enjoying his time as a VIP guest at the wrestling spectacle.

The 17-year-old is making the most of a free Friday night, as his side don’t play again until Sunday evening, when they face Atlético Madrid away from home.
