Barcelona’s stars send collective message to Marc-André ter Stegen before Getafe clash | OneFootball

Barcelona’s players on Wednesday night made use of the opportunity to send a collective message of support to teammate Marc-André ter Stegen.

Goalkeeper Ter Stegen, of course, was dealt a heavy personal blow this past weekend.

As much came upon the German international being stretchered out of Barcelona’s La Liga meeting with Villarreal, before being subsequently diagnosed with a serious knee injury.

Expected to sit out the remainder of the season as a result, Ter Stegen’s teammates, in turn, have tonight taken to the pitch without their no.1 for the first time.

Ahead of the Blaugrana’s clash with Getafe being kicked into gear in Catalunya’s capital, Hansi Flick’s squad, in turn, came together to send a heartfelt message to their stricken captain.

Upon their emergence onto the pitch for kick-off, Barcelona’s stars were all fitted with custom t-shirts, featuring the words:

‘Much strength, captain’
