Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba will not be training at the club’s Carrington training complex as his search for a new employer goes on.

Juventus recently confirmed they had reached a mutual agreement to terminate Pogba’s contract.

The Frenchman was initially handed a four-year ban from football for a doping offence before the suspension was reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport after a successful appeal.

This meant that Pogba could return to training with Juventus in January ahead of making a sensational return to competitive action in March.

However, he is now a free agent and on the hunt for a new team, where he will continue his career.

As his search goes on, Pogba needs to maintain his fitness, especially after such a lengthy period on the sidelines and it was suggested he could be hosted at Carrington.

Training with the Reds could have also given Pogba the chance to attract potential suitors.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has now provided clarity on this and indicated that at the moment, Pogba will not be training at Carrington.

Jacobs wrote on X, “Paul Pogba is training in Miami as he plans his next move.”

“Consideration given to MLS, Europe and Middle East options.”

“Told no plans in place for Paul Pogba to train at Carrington.”

Pogba made 233 appearances for United after re-joining the club in a blockbuster £89million move in the summer of 2016.

The World Cup winner helped the 20-time English champions to win the Europa League and EFL Cup.
