Atalanta’s Marco Carnesecchi and Inter’s Denzel Dumfries were the best performers in Serie A Round 16, contributing to key victories against Cagliari and Lazio.

Inter and Atalanta, inspired by their stars Dumfries and Carnesecchi, secured important victories in the latest Serie A round.

The Dutch right wing-back scored a goal and provided one assist in Inter’s 6-0 trashing of Lazio on Monday night, while the Italian keeper kept a clean sheet with some spectacular saves in Cagliari, helping Atalanta claim their 10th consecutive league victory.

Nicolò Zaniolo scored the winner for Atalanta and was among the best performers in the latest Serie A round, as per average player ratings from Italian sports papers, reported by Fantacalcio.it.

Inter’s big win against Lazio saw nine Nerazzurri players get a mark of at least 7/10, more than any other team in Round 16.

Como’s Nico Paz and Alessandro Gabrielloni received recognition in a 2-0 win over Roma and so did David Neres’ in Napoli’s victory against Udinese and Scotland international Che Adams, scorer of the winner in Torino’s much-needed win away at Empoli.
