Joe Willock, speaking to BBC Sport:

On his season:

"I was just trying to give my best. It's not been an easy season for me, if I'm honest. I've been waiting for my chance to push on, and hopefully this is the start of something better for me this season.."

On the atmosphere among the team:

"It's a very exciting time. We just want to thank the fans for coming out, it's not an easy place to come to you know. It's raining, it's a hard place to come to, but we just want to thank them, and hopefully we can go one better in the Carabao Cup, and continue in this cup like today."

Callum Wilson, speaking to BBC Sport:

On the performance:

"It's a classic FA Cup game, we didn't give ourselves the best start, easy goal to concede. I think it was probably 30 seconds on the clock, we gave ourselves an uphill battle. It kind of got us going a bit, we had to wake up, come out and show our qualities."

On Joe Willock:

"I'm delighted for Joe. He's a big character in the dressing room, we all love him. We're all supporting him and standing by him. It's difficult when you're not in the team, he's been patient and got his opportunity today and he's took it. So it gives the manager options."

On his current fitness:

"I've worked hard to get myself into the position now to start games again. I didn't want to come back too soon, so that I was coming off the bench trying to get my fitness. So I'm trying to play as many games as I can between now and the end of the season. Help the team, get some goals. It's been frustrating to say the least, but hopefully I'm on the other side now and can just contribute from hear out."

Eddie Howe, speaking to BBC Sport:

On the overall game:

"It was a tough game for us, mentally, physically, you could see a few of the players were on the edge today. I'm delighted to get through, it's a great result in the end ."

"I thought it was going to be a difficult night before the game and we conceded within a minute. We knew that made it doubly difficult because of the atmosphere in the stadium totally changed. I think we managed to get a foothold in the game and did really well."

On his halftime team talk:

At half time it was just about staying calmer. I think we were a little bit anxious, and the game became a little bit emotional for us, we didn't want flashpoints. We needed to be calm and control the game, and I think we did that much better in the second half"

On if it was always the plan to substitute Bruno Guimarães and Dan Burn at halftime:

"Bruno at halftime yes. Dan no. We were forced to take Dan off at that stage of the game, it looked like he did something with his groin, fingers crossed it's not too bad."
