Bologna defender Sam Beukema is not thinking about transfer links despite reported Inter Milan, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, and Real Madrid interest.
The 26-year-old spoke to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews. He brushed off some of the speculation about his future, emphasizing that he’s happy at Bologna.
Defender Sam Beukema has attracted a lot of attention since he joined Bologna.
The Dutchman joined the Rossoblu from AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2023.
Beukema had been a regular starter for Bologna in his first season, where he helped the club to a surprise Champions League qualification.
Then, this season Beukema has been even more important for the Bologna backline. Particularly with the departure of Riccardo Calafiori to join Arsenal.
Inevitably, some bigger clubs have been taking a look at Beukema.
Within Serie A, Inter Milan have reportedly made the 26-year-old a priority target.

Inter will have to find a long-term solution in defense. The likes of Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij are stalwarts for the club, but both are now well into their thirties.
And reports have indicated that Beukema is the first name on the Nerazzuri’s shortlist of candidates to replace the veteran defenders.
Meanwhile, Juventus reportedly eyed up a move for Beukema in January.
And then from La Liga, both of Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid are both reportedly keen to bring Beukema to the Spanish capital.
The Bologna defender noted that “My dad is my agent, along with another person.”
Bekeuma explained his mindset towards his future. “I’ve always told them: When there’s something very concrete, we’ll talk about it.”
“If there’s not, then nothing.”
“Here, I don’t like to talk about the transfer market,” the former AZ defender made very clear.
