Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has on Saturday provided an insight into the current wellbeing of attacker Rodrygo.
This comes after the Brazilian was forced to sit out the club’s most recent outing.
Real Madrid are of course currently in the thick of final preparations for a potentially season-defining outing on Sunday afternoon.
Aware that a defeat would see their hopes of retaining the club’s La Liga title brought to an end, Los Blancos will make the trip to Catalunya’s capital, for a showdown with arch rivals Barcelona.
Speaking during his pre-match press conference on Saturday, a whole host of topics surrounding El Clásico were in turn put to the aformentioned Carlo Ancelotti.
One such subject came in the form of the availability of Rodrygo for the clash.
Frontman Rodrygo missed out entirely last weekend, as his teammates put Celta Vigo to the sword by three goals to two. This came owing to a bout of illness.
Ancelotti, though, today conifrmed that the 24-year-old is now back fully fit and well, ready to play his part against Barcelona:
“He’s back, he’s trained well all week. He’s available. We don’t have many options because many players are out. He’s an important option for us, like Arda.”
