Charlotte FC sign former Crystal Palace legend Wilfried Zaha | OneFootball

Charlotte FC have brought heaps of experience to their club after completing a deal for former Premier League star Wilfried Zaha.

The 32-year-old attacker, who made a legendary name for himself at Crystal Palace, arrives at the club until January 17, 2026, with an option to extend the loan through to June 30, 2026 should it prove a success.

After departing England's top-flight, the 2024/25 season saw Zaha play for Ligue 1 giants on loan from parent club Galatasaray.

However, after just six appearances for the French side, he opted to move to the United States for a new chapter.

“Wilfried is a world class talent who has proven himself at the highest level of the sport as an elite goal scorer and chance creator. His performances in the Premier League and on the international level speak for themselves and we are confident that Wilfried can make an immediate impact in Major League Soccer,” said General Manager Zoran Krneta.

During his time in England, Zaha registered 68 goals and 29 assists in 305 appearances for Palace and Manchester United.
