Chelsea got back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday by beating Leicester.
The Blues survived a late rally against the Foxes to claim a 2-1 victory against Enzo Maresca’s former club and saw them move just a point behind second-placed Manchester City.
With the last international break of the year having been and gone, the fixtures are set to pile up thick and fast.
Chelsea will travel to Heidenheim in the Conference League on Thursday before hosting Aston Villa on Sunday, so Maresca will no doubt need his full squad available.
With that in mind, here’s a look at the latest Chelsea injuries…
Chelsea skipper Reece James was ruled out of the Leicester clash with a fresh hamstring injury, continuing his rotten run of luck on the fitness front.
Speaking last week Maresca said: “Unfortunately he felt something small and we don’t want to take any risks this weekend. He’s the only one who for sure is unavailable this week.
“It’s a hamstring. It’s a muscle problem. We don’t want to take any risks for this weekend.”
Potential return date: Unknown
Pedro Neto missed the win over the Foxes but Maresca sounded hopeful the winger could return for their midweek European clash.

“Pedro, he had a problem with his international team,” he said. “There was a chance he could be with us but we didn't take any risks for this game and hopefully he can be available for the next game."
Potential return date: November 2024
Malo Gusto also missed the Leicester game due to illness and the Blues will be hopeful of a swift return.
“Malo was with us but during the night, he unfortunately did not feel well in terms of ill,” said Maresca.
Potential return date: November 2024
Levi Colwill was seen getting treatment from medical staff after the game on Saturday but Maresca revealed the problem was not particularly serious.
"Exactly the same as Malo,” he added.
“He didn't feel very well during the night and this morning. But he could play, finish the game, and hopefully it is nothing important."
Potential return date: November 2024
Summer signing Omari Kellyman remains out with a hamstring injury.
