Emanuel Emegha (22) will not feature again for RC Strasbourg Alsace this season, according to L’Équipe. The Dutchman missed last weekend’s match against SCO Angers and he will also miss this Saturday’s match against Le Havre AC.
Strasbourg have a lot riding on their final game. Les Alsaciens are currently sixth but level on points with OGC Nice in fourth and Lille OSC in fifth. Their goal difference (+13) is only marginally worse than Lille’s (+15). However, whilst UEFA Champions League qualification is still a possibility going into the final game of the campaign, there is a blow for Liam Rosenior’s side going into it.
As per L’Équipe, Emegha will be out of the game. He is suffering with multiple niggles, to his shoulder, his calf, and his knee. He will therefore take no part, like last week, and will not wear the Strasbourg jersey again this season. Diego Moreira, who came off at half-time against Angers, was involved in Tuesday’s training session and looks highly to be involved against Le Havre.
