Serie A champions Inter Milan share the united stance after Simone Inzaghi lashed out at referees following the Derby della Madonnina.
According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, domestic referees have significantly affected Inter’s title ambitions in 2025.
Indeed, referee Simone Sozza failed to award a foul to the Nerazzurri in the Supercoppa Italiana final against AC Milan.
Sozza’s poor decision eventually helped Sergio Conceicao’s side overturn a two-goal deficit and win the title in Riyadh.
However, bizarre calls against Inter didn’t end in Saudi Arabia.
Daniele Chiffi wasn’t equal to the task in Sunday’s Milan derby.
His decision left Simone Inzaghi fuming at the post-match conference, and understandably so.

But it was just the tip of the iceberg.
Let’s take a quick trip down memory lane.
Inter should’ve been awarded a penalty in a 2-2 draw against Bologna last month for Lukasz Skorupski’s foul on Marcus Thuram.
Furthermore, Ardian Ismajli’s ‘karate’ move in the box against Empoli the following weekend went unsanctioned.
Then, Federico Baschirotto’s handball inside the penalty area slipped the referee’s eye against Lecce.
Finally, frustration boiled over on Sunday as Inzaghi couldn’t take it any longer.
