The latest rumor in the Italian capital suggests that ex-Juventus attacker Federico Bernardeschi may be linked once more with a return to Serie A.
The Toronto star is currently in Rome, reports Corriere dello Sport, and the reason for his presence in the capital could be due to his status on the market.
Bernardeschi is said to have been offered to Roma as an alternative to Paulo Dybala.
The Argentine is being linked with a January move to Galatasaray and, as a result, Bernardeschi has been named among the potential replacements.
The player would be more than happy to return to Italy and the idea of Rome intrigues him.
But in Trigoria, in the past, Roma were not convinced of wanting to focus on a player of almost 31 years of age. At this point, a deal remains difficult to envision.
