WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Blades just a short time ago.
Morgan joins Sheffield United off the back of a spell playing her football in SWPL 1 with Hearts. The defender has spent the last 18 months with The Jambos after joining the club in summer 2023.
The 22-year-old Welsh international came through the academy system at Tottenham Hotspur. Morgan went on to make eight appearances for The Lilywhites in the Barclays Women’s Super League. During her time at Spurs, Morgan also gained vital first team playing experience in loan spells at Leicester City, Coventry United and Sunderland.
Morgan’s progress at Spurs was hindered by long-term injury but she has proved her fitness at Hearts and she is now in a position to make her mark in the Barclays Women’s Championship.
After joining Sheffield United, Morgan said “I’m delighted. It’s a really exciting opportunity for myself and I just can’t wait to get playing and get out with the girls now.
“It’s been really great to speak to Ash [Thompson] about where we want to go as a group, speaking to him, I was excited, they were excited to have me and it’s just a great opportunity.”
Morgan is Sheffield United’s fourth signing of the January transfer window.
