A report has claimed that AC Milan are one of the clubs keen on exploring a deal for Victor Osimhen, but a move to England appears more likely at the moment.

According to what is being reported by Fotospor, Napoli offered Osimhen to Newcastle United during the January transfer window because they were ‘determined’ to cash in on him despite the fact he is on loan at Galatasaray.

Newcastle made attempts to sign Osimhen in the summer of 2024, but gave up on the transfer due to Napoli’s demand for a transfer fee of £113m, which is around €135m. However, they did not manage to bring him in during the winter.

The Magpies are not the only club keeping a close eye on Osimhen’s situation as per the source. Chelsea, Arsenal, Juventus, Milan, Newcastle United, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Liverpool are also interested in the Nigerian, who has rejected offers from Saudi Arabia.

On the other hand, Galatasaray want to try all the means necessary to see if they can satisfy Napoli’s demands and make the loan a permanent deal, as unlikely as it might be given the expected costs involved.

Osimhen has played 21 matches for Galatasaray this season, scoring 17 goals and adding five assists. Milan did try to get him in the summer but given they have just invested €35m for Santiago Gimenez, it feels like they almost certainly won’t be in the running come June.
