Frankfurt in talks with Galatasaray over Michy Batshuayi loan move | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe, Bundesliga side Frankfurt are in deadline day discussions with Galatasaray over the potential loan of striker Michy Batshuayi (31). Despite signing Olympique de Marseille forward Elye Wahi earlier this window, the German club are still looking for a striker before the window closes this Monday evening.Frankfurt are negotiating with Galatasaray for the loan of Batshuayi who is under contract until 2027, and is facing stiff competition for game time in Istanbul. Talks are moving in the right direction for the former Olympique de Marseille player, who has scored seven goals in 30 games for the club this season, but has made just five starts.Following his €39m move from Marseille to Chelsea in 2016, Batshuayi was loaned out year in year out by the Blues. He joined Valencia in 2018, then Crystal Palace the two following years. Two years ago, he was loaned out to Beşiktaş but Batshuayi eventually joined the Black Eagles’ Istanbul-based rivals in Fenerbahçe, before making the move to Galatasaray this year.
