The Friedkin family could choose to reunite with former Roma manager Paulo Fonseca.
This time, however, the reunion would take place in Liverpool seeing as Everton are without a coach after Sean Dyche’s sacking.

According to L’Equipe, Fonseca is in fact at the top of the Friedkin’s managerial shortlist as the leading candidate for Everton’s vacancy.
The Portuguese coach could lead the Toffees for the remainder of the season after having been dismissed by Milan in the final days of 2024.
Fonseca briefly worked with the Friedkins following their takeover of Roma in 2020.
At the end of that season, however, the American owners decided against his extension, preferring to appoint Mourinho in his place.
