Fulham 3-2 Liverpool: Player ratings as first-half blitz dents complacent Reds

Fulham held on to earn a deserved 3-2 victory at home to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
It felt as though eons had elapsed between Alexis Mac Allister's opening goal and the first-half interval. Liverpool's Argentine broke the deadlock with a blistering drive in the 14th minute which briefly looked to have set the visitors on their way to a routine away win. It proved to be anything but.
Taking advantage of a riotous crash-bang-wallop rhythm to the contest, Ryan Sessegnon blasted Fulham level. Just four minutes separated goals for Alex Iwobi and Rodrigo Muniz as the hosts romped into a scarcely conceivable 3-1 half-time lead.
Fulham braced themselves for a second-half onslaught which only belatedly arrived. Two of Arne Slot's four changes dovetailed in the 72nd minute as Conor Bradley nudged a pass into the stride of a lively Luis Diaz, who took two quick touches to smuggle the ball underneath Bernd Leno.
Despite a flurry of chances, Slot's side couldn't find a way through, ensuring that they remain just the 11 points ahead of Arsenal at the Premier League summit.
