The MLS Cup conference semifinals wrap up this evening as the final two teams will book their spot in the last-four.

Here is what went down in Orlando and Los Angeles.

LA Galaxy 6-2 Minnesota United

Scorers: Pec 1', 50', Jovelić 18', 89', Painstil 37', 86' ; Yeboah 6', 45+4' (P)

The Galaxy's firepower was on full display as they dispatched Minnesota United in a eight-goal thriller.

The goals were flying in from the jump, as Gabriel Pec collected a superb Riqui Puig ball before firing home inside 30 seconds, but the lead did not last long.

Minnesota responded well, needing just five minutes to pull level through a Kelvin Yeboah stunner from an acute angle.

Yet again, the parity was short-lived as Dejan Jovelić headed home a Marco Reus free-kick to deliver a fresh lead for the hosts before Joseph Painstil doubled the advantage.

However, a late Kelvin Yeboah penalty pulled the Loons back within touching distance just before the half, capping off a thrilling opening 45 minutes.

While the drama continued into the second-half, the goals dried up after Pec put on a solo show, dribbling through a handful of Minnesota United defenders to slot home.

Despite Dayne St. Clair denying Gabriel Pec his hat-trick from the penalty spot, any fight back was quelled when Jefferson Díaz was sent off for his second yellow card.

The Galaxy took advantage, and fired home another two goals in the dying minutes to run the score up and book their ticket for a showdown with the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference Final.

Orlando City 1-0 Atlanta United

After knocking out Inter Miami in the opening round, Atlanta United's shock foray into the conference semifinals came to an end at the hands of Orlando City.

It was always going to be tougher for the Five Stripes against an Orlando side that plugged gaps in transition better than their Miami counterparts.

And it went from tricky to trickier when Ramiro Enrique pounced on a scramble in the box to fire home the opener before the break.

Atlanta's struggles to break down a solid rearguard were apparent after the break as they had few ideas to find a way through and carve out an opportunities to pull level.

Orlando, on the other hand, showed a high level of professionalism as they saw out the narrow result with hardly a scratch.

Óscar Pareja's side will square off with the New York Red Bulls in the conference final.
