AC Milan returned to winning ways in Serie A on Sunday, beating Parma 3-2, but that doesn’t even begin to tell the story of what was a chaotic afternoon.
Milan trailed 2-1 going into added time, but then carnage ensued. Firstly, Tijjani Reijnders latched onto a Yunus Musah through ball to level it with a calm finish, then a couple of minutes later Samuel Chukwueze bundled a late winner past Suzuki having come off the bench.
There was even time for a late bust-up between Davide Calabria and Sergio Conceicao, which both have since stated is now in the past and has been resolved.
As expected, this morning’s newspapers in Italy have reacted accordingly to what was a rollercoaster of a game at San Siro.
La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Milan, comeback and fight, the players who went to the Lazza concert annoy Conceicao. Calabria, Leao and the quarrel on the field.”
Corriere dello Sport: “Milan electric. Conceicao comeback against Parma (3-2) and fights with Calabria at the end.”
QS: “A shock from the Diavolo. Milan: 3-2 against Parma in injury time, argument between Conceicao and Calabria.”
