Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck feels that his teammate Hakan Calhanoglu is “one of the best midfielders in the world.”

The German spoke in a press conference after yesterday’s Serie A win over Monza, as reported by FCInterNews. He also gave his thoughts on the Nerazzurri’s dramatic 3-2 comeback.

Midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu had a decisive influence for Inter Milan against Monza yesterday.

It was the Turkish international who found the back of the net in the second half to draw Inter level.

And beyond that, it was another accomplished display in the middle of the pitch from Calhanoglu.

Hakan Calhanoglu had admitted before the match that he’d struggled to shake off some injuries over the last few weeks. That could have explained some less-than-stellar performances in February.

However, yesterday there were no questions about Calhanoglu. The 31-year-old former AC Milan and Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was the linchpin in midfield for Inter.

After yesterday’s match, Inter Milan defender Yann Bisseck gave his thoughts on his teammate Calhanoglu.

The 24-year-old said of Calhanoglu that “he’s one of the best in the world.”

“He needs confidence,” Bisseck continued. “And when we can help him out, it’s a positive for everyone.”

“We’re very happy for him,” the German added. “But the most important thing is that we won.”

Meanwhile, Bisseck stated that “there’s no secret” to how Inter came back from 0-1 down yesterday.

“We’re all very good player. We can’t all start every match, but every player has to always be ready to help the team.”

“I think that here at Inter we’re all good guys,” added Bisseck.

“And we’re always happy to give our contribution to the team.”

Bisseck also said that “we didn’t talk much” at halftime of yesterday’s match against Monza.

“We knew we had to win the match,” added the 24-year-old. “And we had to do a lot better than we did in the first half.”

“We did so. And we’re happy with the second half.”
