Charlton Athletic will face Leyton Orient in the League One play-off after a narrow win over Wycombe Wanderers at The Valley.

It was always going to be a close game between these two as evidenced by the goalless draw in the first game.

And so it proved to be with the home side having the best chance to open the scoring just before the break when Lloyd Jones missed a golden chance after he headed well wide.

Kayne Ramsay was needed to keep the home side's clean sheets as he made blocks from both Garath McCleary and Xavier Simons.

The key moment of the game came with just over 80 minutes gone when Macaulay Gillesphey sent the ball long.

Lloyd Jones got onto it with the ball then breaking for Matty Godden to finish from close range.

From that point on, Nathan Jones' side did well to keep the game under control and book their place for the play-off final at Wembley.
