Guadalajara falls at Monterrey | OneFootball

Monterrey, Nuevo León - It was a night to forget for Guadalajara, who, after making several mistakes in the first half, paid the price and lost 3-1 to Rayados, in Matchday 14 of the Clausura 2025. After this defeat, Chivas will have to visit Mazatlan next Friday.

Guadalajara had an unfortunate first half, conceding two goals before the 30-minute mark. This blow was almost definitive for the Rebaño, as they were unable to recover despite trying in multiple ways.

Chivas scored at the start of the second half and when it seemed that they could equalize the score due to the dangerous chances they were generating, Luis Romo was sent off, which completely changed the course of the match.

The goals

- The Regio team opened the scoring at 9' through Roberto de la Rosa, while at 28' they extended the lead thanks to Germán Berterame. The final goal came at 85' from the left boot of Nelson Deossa.

- On the Guadalajara side, Roberto Alvarado scored at 51' thanks to a tremendous through ball from Luis Romo, which he took advantage of by beating the Monterrey goalkeeper and then scoring with an empty net.
