A blunder from Andre Onana gifted the hosts the lead early in the second half, but Ruben Amorim thrust Rasmus Amorim, and the striker replied by bagging a brace that completed the turnaround.

The former Atalanta man pounced on the rebound to poach the equalizer, and was then teed up by a clever freekick from Bruno Fernandes, allowing him to snatch the winner with two fabulous touches.

The 21-year-old bomber was still hungry for more, but was denied the chance to go for a hat-trick when Amad Diallo opted against passing him the ball in the final instances of the encounter, sparking a bust-up between the two players after the final whistle.

But despite his elemental role in the comeback victory, Hojlund insists the team still has a lot to improve. However, he lamented the lack of practice session due to the overpacked schedule.

“We still need more time. It’s still very early days. It’s about getting our routines together and it’s getting there,” said the young striker in his post-match interview with MUTV.

“But it still needs practice and time. I know it sounds odd, but we don’t get enough time on the training ground, so we have to train it during the matches. But it’s getting better and better.”

The Copenhagen native has thus far scored seven goals in 17 appearances across all competitions this season.
