Tottenham Hotspur boss Ange Postecoglou is under pressure following a poor run of form.

Spurs lost 4-3 against Chelsea in the London derby on Sunday in the Premier League, and they are now winless in their last four games in all competitions.

Richard Keys wrote in his blog that he is now “genuinely worried” for Postecoglou.

During the game, the ‘TV pictures’ showed Chairman Daniel Levy’s face, and he didn’t look pretty happy with what he saw. Keys says he didn’t like it at all.

The popular BeINSport presenter says that while he enjoys watching Spurs, the north London club are soft. They are “refreshing” for the neutrals, and Keys has questioned whether Levy is missing managers like Antonio Conte or Jose Mourinho.

“I’m genuinely worried for big Ange now,” wrote Keys.

“I didn’t like the tv pictures of a stoney-faced Daniel Levy after Tottenham’s defeat to Chelsea. I smell trouble.

“No Spurs fan wants to see their team beaten they way they were yesterday (Sunday) but it was great entertainment – a 7-goal thriller. Isn’t it entertainment that Spurs fans crave?

“I enjoy watching Spurs. They’re direct – but soft. That’s what makes them refreshing for the neutral. But if you’re a fan is it what you want? Or are you missing Conte and Mourinho? Your move Daniel.”

Postecoglou’s job is safe for now

Levy is reportedly set to persist with Postecoglou, and the Spurs boss will be given time to turn things around.

However, the club also acknowledges the need for improved performance. Spurs have won only once in their last seven games in all competitions, and they need to win games consistently to get into the top four.

Spurs were very poor against Chelsea. Despite taking a two-goal lead, they conceded four times and gave away two penalties. On top of that, they could lose both Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven through injuries once again.

They face Rangers in the Europa League, and a victory on Thursday will secure their place in the knockout stages.
